A person with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy may not experience any symptoms. It is generally an inherited condition, but in some cases, conditions like long-term hypertension, diabetes, and aging can cause acquired-type hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">\n<h4><span style=\"color: #294694;\"><strong>Arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVD)<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a rare type of cardiomyopathy that occurs when fatty and scarred tissue replaces the muscle tissue in the right ventricle, leading to arrhythmias and other complications.
